Shannon and Shauna are identical Carrier Déné First Nations twins of the Stellat'en First Nation reservation in northern British Columbia. They currently reside in Los Angeles, California. They are actors, models, and spokespeople and have been on a variety of television shows, films, commercials and videos.

In the tradition of the Carrier Déné people, an elder from Shannon and Shauna's reservation put warm beehive into the palms of their hands when they were babies. This act is meant to nurture strong artistic abilities.

As long as they could remember they were always performing; From singing “I’m a little tea pot” while dancing in front of a wedding reception at the age of three, to competing in classical music competitions at the age of sixteen. Their love for the arts quickly evolved and took hold.

The twin’s enjoyment for performing took on various forms while growing up. Music has always been a part of their lives, whether they were competing, creating or just listening to it. They participated in school choirs, plays and bands. They have learned to play a variety of instruments such as the saxophone, flute, clarinet, piccolo and most recently the guitar.

Before the start of Shannon’s entertainment career she studied Business Management. While going to school she held a variety of management positions such as Project Manager and Research Assistant at Simon Fraser University, this allowed her to finance her own education. Shannon eventually ended up competing in the Miss Universe® Canada 2007 pageant where she was the winner of the Revlon® Award.

Shauna was also extensively involved in business before her entertainment career began. However, despite her success she instinctively knew that she was not following her dreams. Shauna started modeling, and then moved to acting and hosting. In 2008, Shauna became a host for Canadian television show, ‘City Lights’; which aired on Novus Television.

Shannon and Shauna's introduction to modeling occurred while they were shopping and were approached by a modeling scout.
