Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah and a Happy Kwanza

Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas! And let us not forget our family and friends in the US and other Countries with a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah and a Happy Kwanza! Hopefully everyone is spending a nice holiday with the ones that they love! We are having a wonderful time here in Fraser Lake, or, we should say on our reservation called the Stellat’en Nation. This holiday we were able to see a lot of our family and friends! This has been a nice mini-vacation and we couldn’t think of any other place that we would rather be than to be spending it with the ones that we love!

We are also looking forward to starting the New Year in 2006! Lots of things are going to be happening! And, although we aren’t in Vancouver, we are continuing to work despite the distance. We have a lot of plans that are in the works! We are looking forward to working with our new friends from all over the world!

Merry Christmas!!!

Merry Christmas Everyone! Well, it is definitely Christmas Time! This month has been fairly laid back. We have taken a bit of time off of modeling this month and it has been nice to relax and spend some time with some of our friends here in Vancouver. We are especially looking forward to going back to our hometown for the Christmas Holidays to see our family and friends! We are flying back home this week, and let as tell you, one of the first things that we are going to do is make a snowman with our little seven year old sister! 

We are excited to start this upcoming 2006 year! We know that this coming year will be full of exciting opportunities and experiences and we are both very eager to face any challenges that may come our way!

Speaking of the new year, many of you have been emailing us and asking us what calendar we are in this coming 2006 year. In January we will be making the calendar available through our online store so that you can purchase them. We are featured in the month of July.

And wow, we must say, we LOVE reading every single email that you guys send us! Keep them coming! We appreciate and thank all of you for your words of encouragement! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Tom Green & The Baker Twins

Last week was incredible! We were able to meet twin finalists from all over Canada and the United States at the Body Doubles Competition here in Vancouver. It is a reality TV show to find the next twin stars. During the week, twins kept on getting cut off of the show, and immediately had to leave. It was sad when girls would get elminiated. We had a small taste of how being on a reality show was like. We can only imagine how tough it must be for models that are on “America’s Next Top Model”! And to imagine, the shooting for this lasted only a few days! We made it in the top five! We met some amazing twin sisters with such unique personalities. It was surreal being able to compete against twins. When we are in modeling competitions, we are use to being the only twins at the event. We have never been in a room filled with beautiful twin sisters before, and let us tell you, they were all beautiful! We are going to stay in contact with a lot of them. Feel free to check out pictures from the televised competition. 

We were also able to meet and chat with Tom Green! Now, this guy is such a great guy! He chatted with us in our makeup trailer when we were getting our hair done. He asked us about the town we were from, and surprisingly, he knew where it was! Now, we wouldn’t be so surprised if we came from a city, but, the population of our home town is pretty small!

Shannon finished filmed that history commercial this past weekend. She had a lot of fun and really enjoyed working with the friendly and professional crew. Everyone on set was very nice, helpful and encouraging!

The week ended with a fashion photo shoot. Let us tell you, it was outside and extremely cold, but, it was fun.

Twin Body Doubles Competition in Vancouver

Very busy month

We are both going to have to make more time for updating our journal entries! These past weeks have been busy, but, amazing! Shauna and I were in another fashion show a few weeks ago. We ended up meeting a lot of wonderful people at the event including Marlon Wayans (one of the Wayans brothers). Oh yeah, make sure to check us out in UMM Magazine. I believe that we will be in the next month’s issue.

We are still getting our feet wet with regards to acting. A few weeks ago Shauna and I had an audition call for the same commercial. However, I ended up by getting the part. I have a minor part, but, it is still a part! The shooting for this takes place next week.

Lots of things have been happening with us. Our name has been getting out there! We really appreciate the daily emails that we get from people that believe in us! We apologize for not being able to hastily reply to your emails! We get so many, please be patient, we will respond!
