Well, we have been on vacation for the past couple of weeks. Unannounced, we showed up on our mothers doorstep with our bags. Our family had no idea we were planning on going back home for a visit, so it was nice seeing their surprised face expressions when they saw us.

So far, our trip has been amazing commuting across the interior of British Columbia to visit our family.

This has been our first high speed internet encounter since we have been traveling. (Right now we are at our Mothers house in Prince George). Our Grandmothers house on the reservation still has dial-up internet, so, we haven’t been able to check our email that much. Visiting with the family has definitely been the best vacation this year. We miss our family so much. It has been amazing spending time with them.

We just went on a hiking journey a few days ago on our nation’s territory. We hiked up a mountain called Red Rock Mountain. I must admit I was a teeny weeny bit scared before we went up. Shauna and I have been hearing Red Rock Mountain stories from our people in our nation since we were little girls. Actually, the only time we have ever went up Red Rock was when we were either with my Grandmother or Mother. During the hike we heard a few animals. The first animal that we heard was a large animal (most likely a bear) crashing alongside our path in the forest. So, we started singing and the bear headed in the opposite direction. We also heard an owl and a pack of wolves. The bear didn’t give me the heebie geebies, but, the owl sure did. I have heard many Native legends involving owls and death, so, I guess owls kind of scare me just a bit. Ha ha. When we reached the top of the mountain we saw cougar tracks in the mud. It was an amazing hike!

Shauna and I haven’t been able to announce that we have been on a few radio stations in the United States. One of the interviews was pre-recorded and has been airing this past week on www.krushradio.com from April 24th-28th, 2006 at 5PM (pacific time). If you are not from Los Angeles you can listen tomorrow night at 5pm on www.krushradio.com or www.hardrockradiolive.com. Shauna and I haven’t been able to tune in, but, we will be listening tomorrow! Anyway, hope you guys can check it out!

Anyway, that is it for now! We had better get to bed! We are writing this journal entry pretty late! Thanks for the emails! So, as some of you may already know, our website was down! It just so happens that we were getting too much traffic! Who would have thunk it? We have been getting about 10,000 hits a week! Yikes! So, we have been working with our clever Web Designer Terry! We have been tinkering with the website so that we can get more traffic without our website going on power circuit overload! I hope you guys appreciate some of the changes that we made on our website! A lot of the changes are due to you guys and your emails that we get! We now have a News, Video and a Candid page!

Now for the BT update! Lots of things have been happening! It seems that just when we reach some sort of short-term goal, another opportunity arises! We have been very blessed.

With regard to acting, the auditions have been slowing down the past couple of weeks. It is no longer the 1-2 auditions a week that we are use to, however, it has given us more time to dedicate towards our modeling careers. Right now is the time of year when Shauna and I start scheduling our modeling shoot jobs for the summer time. We have been getting really interesting modeling contract offers. It looks as though we may be traveling the US quite a bit, it should be fun!

Also, we are starting The Baker Twin 2007 Calendar shoot this month! We will be shooting this calendar from now until June, so, the calendar should be ready by mid-June.

We are still contemplating the Italy contract offer, but, it looks as though we may be sacrificing this one. We knew that when we decided to get into acting that we would have to sacrifice some modeling jobs. Depending on how long the contract is, we may or may not go to Italy this summer.

Some of you may have been keeping your eyes peeled for the Smallville episode that we are on. It turns out the episode actually airs this Thursday. So, let us know how you like it! We originally thought the episode would be airing on a different date, but, we found out the show had a bit of a break. They just started playing new episodes again.
