We will be on the Vancouver television show Urban Rush for a Valentine’s day segment on Wednesday, February 14, 2007. We will be modeling for Third Floor Design. The show will be filmed in the afternoon and the show will air several times during February 14-15, 2007.

The CBC Radio show that we were suppose to be on tomorrow called The Northerner has been postponed until Wednesday, February 7th, 2007 at 6:30AM (Pacific Standard Time). I am very excited. The Stellat’en First Nation (my Nation), Nadleh Whut’en Nation and the town of Fraser Lake is holding a Fundraiser for the Miss Universe® Canada Pageant that I am competing in. I am very excited! I have to thank everyone for the support! They are having a dinner, looney auction and a dance to raise money. I really appreciate the support from everyone. And I really wish I could be there right now!
The fundraiser yesterday in Penticton was amazing! We met a lot of the community members from the Okanagan Area that went to the fundraiser. It is amazing how many people came to show their support! Thank you to everyone who was a part of this! It is amazing how so many people are willing to support me and they have never met me. There truly is amazing people in this world. I hope to do everyone justice in the Miss Universe® Canada Pageant.

We must give a big thanks to Elaine M.Alec, The En’owkin Centre and those persons/companies/ organizations involved in the fundraiser for Shannon’s Miss Universe® Canada Pageant. We are flying to Penticton today for the fundraising event.
We are very excited to be able to meet everyone that is taking part in this fundraiser. And we are especially excited to meet all of the youth at this fundraiser! We remember what it was like to have big dreams and live in a small town and small reservation. We both truly believe and know that anyone can attain their dreams if they want it bad enough.
