We wanted to wish our little sister Emily Happy Birthday! She turns 10 years old today. It honestly doesn’t even seem that long ago when she was a baby and I was cradling her in my arms.Shannon and I are going to Thailand this week for modeling! We are lucky enough to bring a chaperone with us so we are bringing our mom.
We will take lots of pictures and we’ll blog when we get back and tell you all about it.

The Baker Twins
Hey Everyone,
Shauna and I seem to be on a commercial roll. I just landed an Olympic commercial. I filmed it last week and it will be airing October 31.
Last Wednesday Shauna and I found out that a sitcom that we were casted in a few years ago was bought by APTN. It looks like we will start filming in January. I’m pretty excited. One of us will be playing the “party” twin and the other will be playing the “book worm” twin. I’m not going to tell you which is going to be which. Maybe you can take a guess!
Next week I am filming a film called “Rookies”. It looks like it is going to be a fun project.
I don’t have too much to update you guys on since Shauna posted about BC Fashion Week in her blog. Plus, I guess I’m being a little lazy because I’m a little sleepy. Time for sleep.

X’s and O’s
Life has been pretty busy this fall. It has been full of auditions, modeling, fashion shows and filming. I filmed a ‘Tim Hortons’ commercial not too long ago. For all you Non-Canadians that do not know what Tim Hortons is, it’s basically the ‘Dunkin’ Donuts’ of Canada. Anyway, I was happy to discover that out of five people casted for the commercial, my friend Joshua Gottfriedson was also casted!
I will share an embarrassing story with you all. Before we filmed the commercial we went to a wardrobe fitting. The wardrobe stylists had me try on so many different outfits for the commercial but they really liked this turquoise hoodie that I wore to the fitting. In the end they chose two possible outfits for me to wear for the commercial which included my turquoise hoodie for one of the outfits. On the day of the filming I arrived on set to meet with the wardrobe stylist and she asked me were the hoodie was. I couldn’t believe I forgot to bring the hoodie!!! They said that I wasn’t allowed to leave set because I was already signed in. She called one of the production assistants and asked him to go to my house to grab the hoodie. While I was handing him my house keys and giving him my address to my place I remembered that it was my laundry hamper!!! How embarrassing. So this poor guy had to go all the way to place, look in my unorganized room and dig through my laundry hamper. Embarrassing, right?
Some of you are probably loyal blog readers of Shannon as well so you probably already heard that we were in communication with our biological father along with his side of the family which includes two sisters!! We have been in keeping in touch with them on facebook. We actually will be flying to Saskatoon in early November to meet them!!! I’m seriously so excited. I have an 18 year old sister and a 12 year old sister.
In a couple weeks I will also start filming for a indie movie called ‘Seeds’ and next week will be my first week hosting tv show ‘City Lights’ which airs on ‘Novus TV’. Should be fun, I will blog and let you know how my first week goes.
