We were asked to join the ‘Going Miles’ tour. The tour was founded by Dakota House, ‘Miles’ stands for motivating, inspiring, leading, empowering and succeeding. Some of the people that are part of the ‘Going Miles’ team includes radio host/mc Doug Bedard, hip hop group Reddnation, radio host Suzette Amaya, hip hop MC Nashashia Cardinal from Eloquence and of course actor Dakota House.
Q’orianka Kilcher recently asked us to help her out with her most newest project for an organization called ‘Walking the Healing Path’. This project is to help raise awareness against domestic abuse on reservations. I will keep you posted on the project once it’s in the works. You may know Q’orianka from the movie called ‘The New World’ where she plays the lead Pocahontas.
An album by Moka Only called ‘Lowdown Suite 2: The Box’ came out in stores last June. I’m on the album cover, hopefully you can pick up a copy of the album to support the talented hip hop artist & producer.
Shannon and I will be starting to ‘Video Blog’ soon so you will all get more frequent updates on what we are doing. I know we have been neglecting our Myspace and blogging but I think video blogging will be easy and quick and at least you can get quicker updates on what we are up to.
The ‘BT Girl 2009 Calendar’ is still available for sale. You can purchase your autographed copy at www.thebtgirls.com for only $10.00.
