Watch ‘Tales of an Urban Indian’
Tuesday, October 20th, 2009The pilot Shannon and I filmed earlier this year is finally going to be aired on APTN. The only thing is that it will be entered in a ‘Pilot-A-Thon’ You the viewer will have a chance the next couple months to watch pilots on APTN and vote for your favorite. ‘Tales of an Urban Indian’ is going to be aired on APTN on Christmas Eve (December 24th) and again on boxing day (December 26th) Please watch and vote for us!!!!! I promise you will like it! No show is like ours. Tales of an Urban Indian is a tv series that has been compared to ‘Sex and the City’ meets ‘Sienfeld’, the show throws out all of the negative stereotypes against native people. It’s about time, right??? Cast members include Darrell Dennis, Carmen Moore, Graham Greene, Katya Gardner, Tantoo Cardinal, Paul Bae, David Lewis and Shannon and I. The website will be up soon!
The Joey Stylez music video called ‘Kool Runnin’ has finally been released. Shannon and I are featured in it, you can watch it on MuchMusic or right now on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X35f2-4G-OU This single was actually on the Canadian Billboard Charts!
I went to Calgary a couple times last month. Well….the first time was with Shannon and we went to a small town just outside of Calgary called Parkers Ridge, AB and we also went to Jasper for a photoshoot on top of a mountain. Brrr, it was cold. At the end of last month I went to Calgary to film a movie called ‘Western Confidential’, Dakota House is in the movie as well.
We were in Saskatoon last month as well to host the Aboriginal Music Festival. There were so many brilliant artists performing at the event including Eekwol, George Leach, Billy Joe Green, Leela Gilday and more!! It was so much fun.
The ‘BT Guy Calendar’ (www.thebtguys.com) has been coming along slowly but smoothly. It’s a 2011 Calendar so we have more time to produce this calendar. So far our BT Guy Models include actor Nathaniel Archand, country music star Shane Yellowbird, two cast members from the Twilight sequel Bronson Pelletier, Justin Rain, two NHL hockey players, actor/director Robert Guthrie, the Pierre Brothers Terrence Pierre, Trenton Pierre, Stuart Pierre, John Kervel, Kenneth Schmidt and Taionnaih Akubal. Seriously ladies, the calendar is full of hotties. You are going to LOVE this calendar.
