Shauna is shortlisted for a big role!
Wednesday, April 21st, 2010Ok, I really suck at this blogging thing. Has it really been a year since I blogged? Wow. I really really suck!
So, a lot has happened in a half a year. I went to LA for almost three months to check it out and I’m now back in Vancouver. Most of you already know, Shannon moved there permanently! She is loving every minute of it, I must confess I miss her a lot. I now work for ‘Industry Works Pictures’. It’s a movie production company & movie distribution company. I have been learning a lot on the other side of film and meet and work with a great number of wonderful people who inspire me.
So, in regards to the ‘BT Guy Calendar’ & ‘BT Girl Calendar’ update. It’s been busy these past few months but I’m FINALLY going to start shooting it. I would like the projects wrapped and ready for print by this Summer. The Calendars will be a 2012 Calendar but ready for sale this fall. In regards to casting, you can apply online at www.thebtgirls.com and www.thebtguys.com (You must be 18 and older and of aboriginal decent)
Yes, I’m still acting! I recently landed a role in a film called ‘Boarder’ (Working title…It may change). I will be working with Attila Luca again, I’m so excited! He’s the same director from a film that I did last year called ‘Seeds’ (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1557863/) which has been doing really well in the film festival circuit across the globe. I have filmed a few music videos the past few months, filmed a few short films and will start filming a ‘Web Series’ in the beginning of May.
In other news, I found out yesterday from my agent that I was shortlisted for a really big feature film for one of the main characters, so please give me positive and good good energy. The tv pilot ‘Tales of an Urban Indian’ aired on APTN a few times this past winter. I hope you watched it and hopefully it get’s turned into a regular tv series.
Much Love,
Shauna Baker
